The Women’s Fund is committed to providing quality event services to participants. We maintain the following policies:
Weather Cancellation Policy
In the case of severe weather, an event may be postponed. If this happens, you will receive notification via email as soon as possible about the postponement and new meeting date.
No Refund Policy
As a small nonprofit, we strive to offer free to low-cost events to the community. For ticketed events, we do not offer a refund for any portion of the ticket purchased due to the fees associated with accepting and returning payment. If you are unable to attend the event, please refer to our substitution policy.
When an event or program requires payment, payment is requested in advance unless prior arrangements are made. If you are unable to attend an event, someone may attend in your stead with notification to the Women’s Fund one business day prior to the event.
Photographs and/or video will be taken at events. By taking part in Women’s Fund’s events you consent to such photographs and video recordings, and grant the Women’s Fund of Western Massachusetts with full rights to use the images resulting from the photography and/or filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes to help achieve the Women’s Fund’s mission. This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in printed and online publicity, social media, press releases and funding applications. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded please inform an event organizer.
Zoom Event Policy
Zoom events may be recorded and/or live-streamed on Facebook. If recorded, it may be uploaded onto a public website for future use, including YouTube and MyWomensFund.org.
Any information shared through the question functions will be anonymous. Please note, however, that the chat record is subject to public record laws and as such is not anonymous.
