Jorene has over 17 years of experience in working with nonprofits and higher education in fundraising and database management.  Jorene works closely with our team to manage donor information, measure fundraising success, and provide analytics to leadership and the Board of Directors as well as preparing our mail and online solicitations. In addition, Jorene assists with grant writing and reporting.

Prior to working with the Women’s Fund, Jorene worked in the Development Offices of American International College and the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center in Hartford, CT. She began her fundraising career working with local communities in Georgia to preserve historic properties by writing grant applications, training volunteers, assessing historic properties, and advocating for historic preservation.

Jorene has a Bachelor of Science degree from Marymount College, Tarrytown, NY and a Master degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Georgia.

Jorene is an avid list maker, blog writer, and collector of cats.
