Are you passionate about the Women’s Fund mission and ready to share that passion with others?
Hosting a Party with a Purpose is a valuable way for Women’s Fund supporters to introduce our mission to others and help us raise funds necessary to carry out our work.
You don’t have to have friends with “deep pockets” to host a party! Hosting a party for the Women’s Fund can be as simple (or as elegant) as you like. Our hope is that you’ll introduce us to people you know that may be interested in supporting the Women’s Fund mission for gender equity.
Shape your party in a way that’s fun for you and your guests. You can host a Party with a Purpose at your home, a local bar, restaurant, or even a park. It’s your decision!
Here are some ideas:
- Wine and cheese party
- Book discussion
- Casual potluck
- Dessert tasting
- Cooking class
- Pool party
- Garden party
- Arts and Crafts night
- Game night
Interested? Here’s how it works:
- Contact Sarah at the Women’s Fund with some possible dates for your party.
- We’ll help you create an invitation that you can email to your guests.
- We can even set up a private page for your party on our website where you can send your invited guests to register and possibly make a small donation.
- We’ll send a representative from the Women’s Fund to your gathering to share a very brief overview about who we are, our mission, and answer any questions.
Most of all we want you and your guests to have fun! There is no awkward ask for donations at your party because guests have already made a donation to attend.
