Loretta Ross, a renowned civil rights activist and co-founder of SisterSong, brings decades of experience in social justice work to this conversation. Her “calling in” method offers an alternative to cancel culture, fostering dialogue and understanding without compromising accountability. She has spent over 40 years in the feminist movement, working on issues of reproductive justice, human rights, and social justice. Ross is an associate professor of women and gender studies at Smith College and continues to advocate for inclusive approaches to social change. She is a 2022 recipient of a MacArthur Foundation Fellowship or “Genius Grant” awarded to outstanding scholars, artists, and activists.
This is a ticketed, fundraising event for the Women’s Fund of Western Massachusetts and space is limited.
